Bert is an experienced analyst, project manager and architect for Business Intelligence (BI) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) since 1986. As of 2013, Bert is also involved in Big Data analytics like text mining and unsupervised learning.
Bert is a generalist with broad experience in managing teams, high tech start-ups, marketing, finance and HRM. He creates project plan deliverables, analyses, logical data models and business cases that communicate with and relate to the business’s needs.
He is the author of Business Analysis for Business Intelligence, which is available in all major bookstores and has been published in Chinese as well. Bert is involved in Business analysis for Big Data projects from strategy evaluation down to the data model, Big Data architecture integrating it with the existing BI infrastructure and, of course project management for Big Data projects. Since the customer is the hardest aspect of a business ecosystem to analyse he also manages CRM projects to make sure relevant information is available. He contributed to the book Data Analytics in Project Management published in 2019.
